In this months issue of Business 2.0 editor Paul Sloan talks about the idea of profiting as a “middle-man” between search engine surfers and pay-per-click advertisers… know as Adsense Arbitrage too us internet marketers…
The concept is really simple and straight forward (it’s one of the first ways I ever made money online…)
1. You set up a website and put some content on it and ad advertisements served by Google Adsense (you can use other networks as well)
2. You run your own ads on the pay-per-click search engines to drive traffic to your site
3. Users searching the search engines see your ad and click on it, then arrive to your site, where they see other ads that they click on…
4. You profit on the difference between the ad that you paid for them to click on to get to your site and the amount that you earn from the ad that the click when they get to your site.
Repeat this process with several thousand keywords, websites, and campaigns and you can make som serious money.
Of course, the recommended route is to focus on few specific niches, and built the business out to include affiliate marketing, building your list, and creating your own products down the road… but Adsense Arbitrage is a good way to get started and test out a market.
Sincerely,
Brian T. Edmondson
