When I first began to research making money online, I was a bit overwhelmed with all the hype I found…

“Make a MILLION DOLLARS A DAY!” and “GET RICH LIKE ME” promises were at first mesmerizing and tempting to read and once I read the great marketing copy, I felt myself drawn towards clicking on those BUY NOW buttons on most of the pages I was reading. They were promising me the world and who could resist having the entire world? Not me! I wanted it and I wanted it yesterday.

And that’s part of the problem with Would-Be Internet entrepreneurs. We’re a restless lot, we want results and we want them now, if not sooner. Sometimes Internet marketing doesn’t work like that. Oh sure, there will be times when the money seems to be literally funneling into your Paypal account at the speed of light, but mostly it’s that old adage about how slow and steady wins the race.

Here’s my advice to you: Go ahead and read those ‘get rich overnight’ marketing pages. Learn what it is they’re doing, but be careful not to drop all of your money into every tantalizing project you see. There are SO many to choose from, and that’s what you need to do: CHOOSE. Put your focus into one area and that’s how you’ll succeed.
