You know, I have been thinking a lot lately about something that
came up a few weeks ago…

I was having an informal chat with a few of my peers, and the
subject of stumbling blocks came up. You know, missing links.

Well, you guys know me pretty well. Most of you own one of my
products, and many of you own a few of them. I am proud at the fact
that my techniques have made some of you a lot of money! I have
also done pretty well for myself, I can’t complain.

Anyways, I get great feedback from my clients, and I always pay
attention to it. And sure enough, one certain little thing keeps
coming up…

One area where there seems to be a “gap” between my training and
actually kick-starting a successful online business.

So I asked a few colleagues if they are hearing the same thing, and
sure enough, they are.

Now wait a sec. I like to think my programs are pretty
comprehensive. Could I really have missed such a big thing?

Well… no.

But I have built quite a few online businesses, and I guess I find
it easy now. So I sort of “skim” over this one area. And I have
found that many other mentors do as well.

I guess we all have forgotten how tricky we found this stuff when
we started out! Well, that one thing that seems to give people the
biggest headache is:

The technical stuff.

The technical specifics of setting up websites is second nature to
me, now. Domain Names, Hosting, DNS, Email… I breeze through all
of it. But the more I think about it the more I remember how
terribly frustrating it was when I first got started. I had no clue
what I was doing!

- I beat my head against the wall.
- I hired programmers who bilked me out of hundreds of dollars.
- I bought software I couldn’t understand, and books I couldn’t
 lift with both hands.
- I beat my head against the wall again… and AGAIN AND AGAIN AND
 AGAIN!
