Working from Home Effectively.

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my free e-newsletter and update list to the right. Thanks for visiting!

Let’s say you’ve decided to work from home and leave your corporate 9-5 prison.

Good for you!

You even have a plan of sorts. You want to make a living by working online. Now, you’re going to want to set up a home office that is conducive to getting your work done. Working from home isn’t like working from an office—there are distractions layered on distractions at home. You thought having donuts in the break room was distracting? That’s nothing compared to being home with the television, the phones, the other people living in the house and the house itself!

You can see that maybe the dishes need doing, or the floor needs sweeping. Everywhere you look is something that can pull you away from what you should be doing—focusing on your Internet marketing business.

Make sure you have a room to work in where the distractions are kept to a minimum. No televisions, no people coming in and out, no loud music. If it’s a room with a door you can close, all the better.
Set up your computer up at a table or a desk. Try to stay out of bed because it can suck you back into the mattress.

Now you can focus on your new Internet Marketing adventure!

Sincerely,
Brian T. Edmondson
